With its striking White's Castle, the mighty stone bridge that leads into the center and the abundance of water and wonderful greenery that surrounds it, Athy is a nice stop on your hike. Stop for a beer in a local pub or just stroll through the streets and let yourself be enchanted by the typically Irish flair of this small town.
