Most of the castle has been demolished over the centuries and is likely to be used again in the surrounding villages. But it is still nice to look at.

A nice little round and not far from Magdeburg. Good hiking trails and in the middle of nature. The castle is no longer a castle in the proper sense, but remains from the 1500s. But still a worthwhile goal if you are looking for a stamp (castle ruin Domburg) for your stamp book.
