The Rehsprungmaar is also called Königsmaar - and has nothing to do with the Eifler Maaren, because it is not of volcanic origin. But what it is: idyllically situated. Especially in summer, surrounded by dense nature, you can really relax here.

The Rehsprungmaar is one of the most famous ponds in the Kottenforst near Bonn-Röttgen. This is an important spawning area for some protected amphibian species.
