Positioned on the large plateau (Pian Rosso) above the town of Viozene, surrounded by vast green pastures, the Mongioie refuge is a splendid Alpine structure with excellent cuisine. Behind the refuge rise the imposing wall of Mongioie and the top of the Saline.

This place is the ideal starting point for high-altitude runs and to reach the top of Mongioie. It also has a beautiful sun terrace with fantastic views.
