Halfway between Laubach-Ruppertsburg and Hungen-Villingen you will find the Horloff Bridge. The bridge is unfortunately in a very bad condition and therefore had to be closed. But in an emergency and with a bit of caution, this can be done once. Personally, I think the Horloff section between Ruppertsburg and Villingen is very beautiful. Here the Horloff has retained a certain naturalness. Incidentally, the Horloff rises near the glider airfield at Schotten-Götzen and flows into the Nidda after approx. 45 kilometers at Reichelsheim.
