Picturesque old town, through which thousands of fools parade through the streets with their larvae and in their traditional hats at the Rottweiler fool's jump on Shrove Monday and Shrove Tuesday. It is definitely an event worth seeing. Many houses have beautiful bay windows with brightly painted motifs. The still narrow Neckar flows below in the valley.

Beautiful old town with many towers, including a newer tower (the Thyssenkrupp elevator test tower), which towers over everything with a height of 246 meters. There are also some Roman remains here, after all, Rottweil is the oldest city in Baden-Württemberg.
