    The telecommunications tower on the Frauenkopf in Stuttgart is operated by Telekom. The tower was built in 1969-71 as a successor to a smaller telecommunications tower. The tower is 192.4 meters high and weighs about 9800 tons. The type tower FMT 3 served as the building basis. It was built by Siemens-Bauunion and the civil engineering company Wayss & Freytag at a cost of DM 9.5 million.
    The tower actually looks like a "UFO on a stick".

    Therefore, it is good destination point.
    Besides, everybody can watch the television tower ... and it's a bit impressive when you're standing in front of it.
