The Burgstall Ödes Schloss is the rest of an abandoned castle, you can still see ramparts and a few remains of the foundation wall

It's not really worth it - the path turns into a slide after the rain and unfortunately you can no longer see the castle. That doesn't necessarily mean something, but at some other historical sites in the region an impression is given by display boards. Unfortunately, apart from the signpost there is nothing to explain on site. In this respect: does not have to be a stop.

Unfortunately not much to see. Wikipedia knows about this: The presumably high medieval castle barn Ödes Schloss is the remainder of an abandoned castle that once stood on a spur terrace of the Nonnenberg above the hamlet of Peuerling.
