In this Collection, we present nine hikes that enable you to fully experience the region’s natural beauty and rich culture. Highlights such as the karst Breccaschlund, with its primeval forests; the Roman Amphitheater of Avenches; the Kaiseregg; the Gastlosen limestone cliffs; the Jaunbach Gorge; and the Galterntal Gorge await you. Don’t forget to sample the region’s famous cheeses, such as Gruyère AOP, named after the picturesque city. A true delight!
Our hikes take you to remote landscapes, as well as historic cities, towns and villages. In the canton of Fribourg, medieval castles, cozy alpine huts, and mighty peaks all rub shoulders, so variety is guaranteed.
