    Het bosgebied wordt doorkruist door verschillende bospaden. In het noorden is het vooral een aaneengesloten beukenbossencomplex, de overwegend oude bomen daar hebben stamdiameters tot 90 cm. In de kruidenlaag komen regelmatig soorten van het lievevrouwebedstrobeukenbos voor.
