    Painbrush Divide ligt net onder Paintbrush Peak op 12.000 voet en biedt enkele van de meest verbluffende panoramische uitzichten in het park van Mount Moran, Mount Woodring en Rockchuck Peak. Is een lange en uitdagende, maar lonende plek om de top van de prachtige Paintbrush Canyon te bereiken. Voordat je probeert om bij de kloof te komen, moet je stoppen bij het Jenny Lake Ranger Station en de voorwaarden op Paintbrush Divide bekijken. Het houdt vaak sneeuw tot half juli en kan daarom gevaarlijk zijn als het wordt geprobeerd zonder de juiste uitrusting.

    Controleer de trailcondities met Rangers! We kwamen in juli en moesten verschillende sneeuwverstuivingen afleggen. Het was te doen met normale wandeluitrusting, maar de Rangers zullen de huidige omstandigheden kennen.
