    De liefdevol gerestaureerde Kettinge-molen werd in 1891 gebouwd op de plaats van een vorige molen en was in gebruik tot 1944. In 1998 droeg de gemeente Nysted de molen over aan de vereniging Kettinge Møllelaug. Ten tijde van de overname verkeerde de molen in een desolate staat en was aan een grondige renovatie toe. De leden van de molenvereniging exploiteren en onderhouden de oude molen. De plaquette op de voorkant van de molen en de datum 4-9 1940 - 5/5 1945 zijn een gedenkteken voor de Duitse bezetting tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog. kettingemoelle.com
