    De molen in Scharrel wordt ook wel Hanekamps molen genoemd en is gebouwd in 1870. Het is een drie verdiepingen tellende Nederlandse windmolen met kuil, zeilbladen en drie maalgangen - waarvan er twee nog steeds operationeel zijn. In de molen en de aangrenzende koetshuis bevindt zich een molen en een streekmuseum. In de molen kun je ook trouwen.

    De windmolen Galerie-Holländer, gebouwd in 1870, werd in 2002 volledig gerenoveerd en in 2016 gedeeltelijk gerenoveerd. Het is nog steeds volledig operationeel. De gehele houten constructie is sinds 1870 onveranderd gebleven. In de molen worden tal van oude landbouwwerktuigen tentoongesteld. In de directe omgeving van de molen bevindt zich een museum. Bezoekers kunnen de molen op afspraak bezichtigen.

    Van mei tot september is de molen elke eerste en derde zondag van de maand geopend van 14.00 tot 17.30 uur. De leden van de molenvereniging bieden op deze dagen koffie en zelfgemaakt gebak aan in het museum.
