    Het Los Angeles State Historic Park, ook wel bekend als Cornfield, was vroeger een rangeerterrein waar treinwagons overstroomden met maïs. De spoorlijn was omzoomd met maïsstengels, waaraan het gebied zijn bijnaam ontleende. Het begon in 2006 als een klein park en is uitgegroeid tot 32 hectare aan groene ruimte met toiletten en geplaveide paden.
