    De Schwedenlöcher vormen een bijzonder spannend gebied en zijn voor mij een hoogtepunt in de Saksische Schweiz. Dit gedeelte kreeg zijn naam tijdens de Dertigjarige Oorlog, toen boeren uit het dorp Rathenwalde hierheen vluchtten om te ontkomen aan de Zweedse soldaten en de bezetters van het dorp. Naar mijn mening het mooiste kloofpad in de Sächsische Schweiz dat ik ken. Dit bijzonder ruige pad heeft bijna iets sprookjesachtigs en soms heb je het gevoel dat je in de jungle bent.
