    De Ziger is de eerste bergtop die je in ongeveer 15 minuten kunt beklimmen tijdens de zeven-toppentocht vanaf Maschgenkamm over een mooi, gemakkelijk bergpad. Op de Ziger heb je een geweldig uitzicht over het hoogveen en de Seelis, waarvan de vorming duizenden jaren heeft geduurd en in deze vorm uniek is op aarde. Dergelijke heidevelden behoren tot de meest waardevolle gebieden en staan onder federale bescherming. Ze bieden natuurlijke habitats en een thuis voor ongeveer een kwart van alle bedreigde plantensoorten in Zwitserland.
