    Het natuurpark Hohe Wand is dagelijks geopend (tot 18.00 uur in de zomer, tot 17.00 uur in de winter). Je hebt een beetje het gevoel alsof je zweeft op het uitkijkterras dat in de rots is gebouwd. Een geweldige ervaring! IJzeren staven scheiden je van de afgrond en bieden een adembenemend uitzicht - in de verte en in de diepte. Natuurlijk is alles veilig, maar niet aan te raden voor mensen met hoogtevrees.

    Bijzonder aan het natuurpark is het uitkijkterras Skywalk op de Hohe Wand. Het uitkijkterras is in de rots ingebouwd en geeft je het gevoel in de lucht te staan. Vanaf hier heb je een indrukwekkend uitzicht in de diepte en over de Weense Alpenboog. Bij goed zicht is er een weids uitzicht tot aan de Neusiedler See.

    Platform op bijna 900m dat uitsteekt over een rotswand. Fantastisch uitzicht, je kunt zelfs het Neusiedler Meer zien.
    Voor het beklimmen van de Hohe Wand raad ik de route aan vanaf Markt Piestetten, vanaf Dreistetten kun je zigzaggend omhoog rijden over boswegen (hoewel er veel losse grond is, dus wat lastig). Stollhof en Maiersdorf zijn essentieel, maar steiler en met meer verkeer.
