    De "slakkennoedel" heet de Zeppelinturm, ligt op de Ebersberg en biedt een prachtig weids uitzicht inclusief een glimp van de Limburgse kloosterruïne. Er zijn ook een paar banken beneden om op te rusten.

    De Kelten uit de Limburgse berg en de dalnederzetting in Hausen begroeven hier hun doden. Na de brand werd in 1974 het uitkijkpunt "Schneckennudel", ook wel de "Zeppelintoren" genoemd, herbouwd.
    Het gebouw, voorheen bekend als de "Malakoffturm" (Kriemoorlog), kreeg vóór de Eerste Wereldoorlog de naam "Zeppelinturm", toen de eerste zeppelin werd waargenomen boven Bad Dürkheim. De volkstaal verwijst ernaar als "slakkennoedels" vanwege zijn spiraalvormige opkomst, een zeldzaamheid onder gezichtspunten.
