    De kerkruïne werd begin jaren 2000 structureel beveiligd, zodat hier af en toe kerkdiensten, concerten en zelfs bruiloften kunnen plaatsvinden.
    Een geweldige sfeer en een van de hoogtepunten van de Mecklenburg Kapellenroute. Niet ver van deze woestijnkerk staat nog een woestijnkerk in Schorssow.
