Amazing that in the Ruhr area between Herne and Bochum so beautiful hiking is possible. It is worth it .. We start Gysenberg, Gysenbergwald, Hiltroperpark and Stemberger Busch. It is always a light traffic to hear noise in the Stemberger bush but especially loud because the highway is right next door

The hiking tour is nothing special in the beginning, difficult to walk in the middle because there are very natural ways and it goes quite up and down, the last part before and after the Naturfreundehaus is again very nice to walk.

Historical trail that gives an insight into coal mining methods over the last 500 years. Interesting and nice area. Also a strong increase. The route can be wonderfully extended z.b. Kemnader Lake is very close.

The tour is only 45 minutes short but wonderful in a forest as you were used to, mostly along the Silberbach in a nature reserve. It is very nice there.
