It is the most challenging tour in the Dolomites. Because of its length, the number of climbs, and especially the difficulty of the climbs. The Maratona dles Dolomites route is a real killer with no less than 7 climbs!
You cycle successively on: the Passo Campolongo, Passo Pordoi, Passo Sella, Passo Gardena

One of the rare rounds to the west from Badia. From Badia you start the day with the ascent of the Passo Gardena. My personal favourite, because of the impressive rocks that surround you, and yes, the bizarre view at the top.
From the top it is a long descent through the Gardena valley towards Klausen

It’s mid February and for the last week or so the region, which is known to the locals as the ‘piege’, has been experiencing some spring like temperatures. This region in the Occitanie - formerly the Midi Pyrenees - is somewhat still undiscovered by the cycling hoards.
Our tour went to Prat d’Albis, a
