The Juliusspital is a foundation of the prince-bishop Julius Echter von Mespelbrunn from the year 1576. Today the foundation includes among others. a hospital, a senior citizens' pen and a winery. The main buildings with the representative princely building and a historical park are located on the Juliuspromenade.
