    The floating staircase is made of stainless Corten steel, with a color that refers to the iron sandstone heritage.

    The Vlooyberg Tower is over 20 m long and 11 m high.

    The viewing staircase is located at one of the highest locations, approximately 80 m, in the Hageland.

    In clear weather, from the tower in the west you can see the cooling towers of Electrabel in Vilvoorde and the shafts of the Limburg coal mines in the east.

    The total height of the tower is 11.28 meters and the height of the top platform is 10.08 meters. The highest parapet is 1.20 meters. At the top, the parapet has viewing holes for the children. The width of the stairs is 150 centimeters. The maximum load capacity is 400 kilograms per square meter.
