Today, my friends and I started at the Talwiesenschenke inn, hiked across the "Große Loch" (Great Hole) to the Teufelsmühle (Devil's Mill) and on to the Hahnenfalshütte (Hahnenfals Hut). Despite the dense fog, it was a beautiful hike with atmospheric paths and great company.

The hiking trail starts from the top station of the Elferbahn cable car in a southeasterly direction. A beautiful trail (No. 136) leads you down narrow paths and through mountain pine fields into the idyllic Pinnistal Valley. From the Kreuzjochbahn mountain station, we follow the well-marked trail toward Zuckerhütl-Blick and continue to Niederer Burgstall (2,436 m), the first summit with a great view overlooking the Stubai Valley. The trail mostly follows easy-to-access mountain paths with a moderate gradient.
