Here is the complete route of the Vallée de Somme V30 cycle route, a perfect route to explore the Somme, its natural landscapes and cultural treasures. This route takes you through the entire department, from Tergnier to the Baie de Somme, on approximately 200 kilometers of safe cycle paths.

This tour truly takes you to the heart of the Somme Valley, its meanders and its wildest side.

Between Amiens and Abbeville, the Véloroute Vallée de Somme is really very comfortable. The towpath is very rolling up to Picquigny and then alternates between asphalt and stabilized material. A very rich heritage and history over these almost 50km! Arrive in Abbeville, you can return by train to Amiens

This tour invites you to walk through the Picardy countryside before joining the Canal du Nord towpath. We invite you to follow the signs for the V30! When you arrive in Péronne, don't miss the city center and if time permits, a visit to the Historial de la Grande Guerre is a must!

A stage which takes you through the small roads of the Aisne department then the Somme to reach the town of Ham from Montdidier.

Departure is from the station then we take the Saint-Quentin canal towards the north.

On this tour, you follow the Somme on what is called the "maritime canal". Very linear, it is only around fifteen kilometers long and allows you to quickly arrive at Saint-Valery-sur-Somme, where the Somme river finally flows! A discovery of the port and medieval town is essential!

The 20 km which separate Amiens and Corbie are punctuated by 2 deviations from the towpath. In this area fishing is very present! When you arrive in Amiens, you will discover the hortillonnages, a green lung in the heart of the city. This preserved area is a set of small islands which can be discovered
