Cross is boss, and there's nothing like Urban CX for some inner city fun.



This route takes in Manchester cobbles, gravel and dirt as you ride along the River Irwell, through Clifton Country Park, Nob End and Ash Clough SSSI, take the Outwood Trail, and ride through Prestwich Park and Kersal Wetlands

More urban gravel, this time heading south. Take in some dirt along the Bridgwater Canal, the River Mersey, Priory Gardens and Kenworthy Community Orchard on this Tour.

Canals, railtrails and some glorious gravel; take it from us, this jaunt out to the Sett Valley is a real cracker. It's no small ride either, so you'll be glad to hear there's a great cafe mid-way through as well, before you head back into the city.

If you don't have all day but want to get out of the city onto some rural gravel tracks, then this ride out to Marple and Werneth Low could be just the ticket.

Linking Glasgow and Manchester, the Second City Divide is a long distance mixed terrain bikepacking route that's a firm local favourite. The Racing Collective's GB Divide route is raced annually, spanning Land's End to John O'Groats with many challenging off-road sectors, known as GBDuro.

Not one to be underestimated, the climbs are tough, but the stunning Peak District views on a good day should provide some welcome distraction from the effort.

Said to be a favourite of Dame Sarah Storey, the twisting climb that passes the former brickworks, is a key feature of this ride.



Thankfully you get to descend the 25% gradient of Blaze Hill on this route afterwards!

This tour takes you north-east out of Manchester and into the upper reaches of the Peak District National Park.



You'll climb Skye Road past Dovestones Reservoir to begin, before dropping down to Meltham. Then it's up and over into Slaithwaite before a spicy ascent out of the village ready for some more

With the climbs of Holmefirth Road, also known as Skye after a long-closed inn, and the famous Holme Moss, plus a few extras, there are some spectacular views to be earned along this Tour.

Heading south-west into Cheshire, this longer loop includes a lap of the lanes around Rostherne village and Rostherne Mere nature reserve, albeit staying on the tarmac.
