In the first section, you'll cycle through a typical marsh landscape with endless horizons

Starting in the Hanseatic city of Stade, you'll find old, thatched half-timbered houses, many of them lovingly restored, forming a picturesque backdrop. The third stage, at 35 kilometers, is also not too long. You cross the Steinbeck River, which flows into the Aue shortly after Harsefeld. This stage is an optional day trip with Nütschau Monastery as the destination. The Benedictine monastery is the only active monastery on the Monks' Trail. Here, you have the opportunity to experience the traditional and secluded life of the Benedictine monks.
