From Texel ferry port we head to Oudeschild and then along the tar beach and behind the dike towards De Cocksdorp.

At the "Prins Hendrik" hotel we drive into the interior of the island to Midden Eierland to get to the ice farm from there.

Then we continue west via De Cocksdorp

The Schwarzwaldverein Ortsverein Oppenau e.V. set up "den Oppenauer" to celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2023. The hiking trail connects well-known and unknown paths around Oppenau over 13.5 kilometers and offers wonderful views of the valley and the surrounding forests.
