We started at the train station in Leiden, the tourist information center is right down the street in front of the station building. There you can get very good advice and find various city maps with tours.

From Texel ferry port we head to Oudeschild and then along the tar beach and behind the dike towards De Cocksdorp.

At the "Prins Hendrik" hotel we drive into the interior of the island to Midden Eierland to get to the ice farm from there.

Then we continue west via De Cocksdorp

The Schwarzwaldverein Ortsverein Oppenau e.V. set up "den Oppenauer" to celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2023. The hiking trail connects well-known and unknown paths around Oppenau over 13.5 kilometers and offers wonderful views of the valley and the surrounding forests.

The path leads along a long bicycle road parallel to the old town directly to the Rhine. Past a beach bar, over the Rhine bridge to the Rhine promenade. Over the bicycle bridge, it goes back over

This tour takes you to beautiful locations right along the lake shore. I love going here, always a highlight.



From the state ferry port, you can take bus line 1 back to Constance.

We took the bus from Algund to the Töll lock (one stop before/after the Algunder Waalweg stop).



From then on you walk on flat to slightly sloping paths to Meran. On the way there are a few opportunities to stop and linger, over the entire route you always have a great

The Gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle are an absolute highlight!



On an area of 12 hectares, a network of paths that is 7 km long and on which you can climb up to 100 meters in altitude, this garden is a dream and worth a visit.

from Vellau it goes downhill on narrow paths to Dorf Tirol. In Dorf Tirol you can linger and then walk in the direction of the Dorf Tirol chairlift (that's still a long way), then take the chairlift to Meran (a very beautiful town on the Passer).

from the bus stop it goes steadily downhill on the paved bike path. On the way there are nice places to rest and enjoy the view.

The short route takes you along beautiful paths through numerous apple orchards with a beautiful view of the Vinschgau.

The crisp 60-minute climb brings us almost to the highest point of the hike. From the Ibacher Holzplatz, there is only a minimal incline past the Mooskopf to the Lothardemkmal. From then on it's almost all downhill on beautiful paths
