Startet euren Rundgang am großen Westparkplatz und taucht ein in die Geschichte von Burg. Gleich zu Beginn erwartet euch in der Stadtbibliothek eine Ausstellung über Ernst Ludwig Kirchner. Von dort schlendert ihr durch die Bahnhofstraße in die lebendige Breite Straße – die Haupteinkaufsstraße mit ihren kleinen Geschäften und Cafés. Weiter geht es zur Station über die Altstadt von Burg, zum Rathaus und zum traditionsreichen Senator-Thomsen-Haus. Ein kleiner Abstecher führt euch anschließend zur etwas versteckt gelegenen St.-Jürgen-Kapelle, die mit ihrer besonderen Atmosphäre überrascht. Zurück im Zentrum erfahrt ihr im Fehmarn-Museum Spannendes über die Geschichte der Insel, bevor die imposante St.-Nikolai-Kirche den Rundgang beschließt. Von hier sind es nur wenige Schritte zurück zum Ausgangspunkt. Auf knapp 3 Kilometern und in etwa 35 Minuten erlebt ihr nicht nur die schönsten Ecken von Burg, sondern entdeckt dank Audioguide auch die Geschichten hinter den Gebäuden. Ein kurzer, abwechslungsreicher Spaziergang, der euch mitten ins Herz Fehmarns führt.
