ClimateWalk에 대하여
Der Climate Walk ist ein kombiniertes Forschungs-, Bildungs-, und Medien/Kunstprojekt der Wanderers of Changing Worlds. Von Juni 2022 bis April 2023 wanderten wir durch 16 europäische Länder und erforschen die Wahrnehmungen, Erfahrungen und Praktiken der Menschen im Umgang mit dem Klimawandel und sich verändernden Klimazonen (auf biophysikalischer und soziokultureller Ebene) und fördern die Zusammenarbeit zwischen Einzelpersonen, lokalen Gemeinschaften und nationalen und internationalen Organisationen.
Das sich regelmäßig abwechselnde Team ist zweigeteilt - Team Nord startete im Juni 2022 am Nordkap, Team Süd began die Reise am 1. September in Cabo da Roca (Portugal). Der Plan ist, sich im April 2023 in Österreich zu vereinen und gemeinsam die letzten Etappen zu unserem Zielort Wien zu wandern.

The Climate Walk is a combined research, education and media-art project by the Wanderers of Changing Worlds. Since June 2022, we are walking through 17 European countries, exploring human perceptions, experiences and practices in dealing with climate change and changing climates (on a biophysical and socio-cultural level), and promote cooperation between individuals, local communities, and national and international organizations.
The team is split in two, one started from the North Cape in June 2022, the second one just walked off in Cabo da Roca (Portugal) on the 1st of September. The idea is for the two teams to unite in Vienna (Austria) in April 2023.
