The warmest day of the year so far brought out a fantastic crowd, with 15 cyclists joining us for a pleasant evening spin. ☀️ To keep things smooth and safe, we split into two groups, sticking primarily to local cycle infrastructure and peaceful back roads. 🌳 Great pace, better company, and a perfect evening light to top it off!

Seven of us made the glorious, tree-lined haul out to Aspley Guise today. The autumn riding was genuinely excellent—no complaints there! We had to wait for our much-earned coffee at about three-quarters of the way around. We rolled into Great Brickhill and successfully located Celia's Café, a newcomer to the cycling circuit, having only opened its doors a few months ago. Crucially, note the opening hours for future rides: it’s only Thursday through Sunday.

Five of us enjoyed a fast spin to Winslow today. The weather was hovering around 10 °C, and a few of us wished we had brought another layer! Thank goodness for the excellent new Legends Café (taking over from James Kitchen). The upgraded menu and superior cake selection made for a fantastic stop. Sunday riders, take note: They're now open, with easy bike access through the public car park into the back garden. A serious upgrade to our cycling route!

A breezy, sunny morning found a group of seven BuzzCycles riders on a delightful social ride. Our journey led us to a new and charming destination: Dottie About Cakes in Long Marston. This café, a fantastic find by Tom, was a real treat. The coffee was excellent, the food was delicious, and they even plan to provide in the future long bar saddle racks to accommodate bikes. I

We finished our summer season with a fantastic turnout of eight riders for our final Wednesday ride, a welcome surprise given the gloomy weather forecast. While we enjoyed a flawless, rain-free summer, our luck finally ran out with a bit of light rain during the last ten minutes of the ride. After an unencouraging Wednesday afternoon of epic rainstorms, eight of us were rewarded with a lovely evening ride around eastern Leighton Buzzard in the fading light.

We had a solid turnout of seven riders tonight for our spin around Rock Lane and Pages Park. Despite the forecast, we managed to outsmart most of the rain, only getting a bit of damp from a single shower. A good ride all round! ☔️👍

Thirteen of us took to the cycle paths and lanes around Leighton Buzzard for a great social ride, finishing at the Cod & Waffle for a well-deserved supper 😋. We've only got a few of these Wednesday evening rides left before the light starts to fade, so let's make the most of them! 🌅

That was just the perfect way to finish the day. Nothing beats a casual evening spin, especially with the Buzzcycles crew. Riding with 11 of us made it even better. The climb up to Mentmore was absolutely worth it for the stunning views over the Vale as the sun dropped low. The light was just magical, bathing everything in that perfect golden glow ✨. Just coasting along with good company and no pressure. What's not to like? 🚴‍♂️😊
