Arms of Andes ist eine nachhaltige Outdoor-Marke für Bekleidung und Accessoires. Hergestellt aus natürlichen Hochleistungsfasern, schlägt Alpakawolle im direkten Vergleich Merinowolle. Die von Natur aus atmungsaktivere und leichtere Alpakafaser lässt frische Luft besser zirkulieren. Selbst beim Besteigen der höchsten Berge der Alpen oder beim Wandern im feuchten Wald, transportiert die ultimative Faser Feuchtigkeit ab und hält somit ihren Körper trocken und warm. Zudem besitz die Alpakafaser einen UV-Schutz, der vor Sonneneinstrahlung schützt. Reisen Sie leichter und weiter mit Alpaka Wolle und erleben Sie Wanderungen und Natur schöner als je zuvor.

Wir sind der Meinung, dass Nachhaltigkeit von der Herstellung und Leistung der Faser über die Lieferkette bis hin zum Ende der Lebensdauer des Kleidungsstücks reicht. Eine nachhaltige Marke zu sein bedeutet für uns, biologisch abbaubare Materialien zu verwenden: Stoffe aus 100 % Alpakawolle, Fäden und Etiketten aus 100 % Baumwolle. Kurze Lieferketten durch Produktion nur in Peru führen ebenfalls zu einem geringen Kohlenstoff Fußabdruck.

Jeder Schritt bei der Herstellung unserer Kleidung wird in nur einem Land durchgeführt: Peru, die Heimat unserer Familie. Unsere Produktion in Peru umfasst die Beschaffung der Fasern, das Spinnen des Garns, das Stricken der Stoffe, das Färben, die Endbearbeitung bis hin zum Nähen der Kleidungsstücke.
