Since my knee resented the sandy passages of the last few days, I didn't hike to Odeceixe as planned today. Instead, I dedicated myself to the fauna around Zambujeira. Many plants on the Costa Vicentina are endemic, i.e. they only grow there.

The first storks have already nested at Cabo Sardão, almost close enough to touch. These views accompanied me the entire way today. Likewise the wonderful scent of rockroses, which grow in large numbers along the entire section of the stage. The last stretch to Zambujeira stretches a bit along the road

Beautiful stage! Storks can often be seen nesting on the rocks along the coast. The sand turns from light yellow to dark orange. Beautiful play of colors! I saved myself the approx. 5 km passage at the beginning, as this only runs along the main road. Instead, used the crossing of the Mira River by boat.

After a long time, I walked the end of the world path again today. Always beautiful!

Last day and sunshine in the Pas de Calais. Before that I had already visited the 2 Caps and done a little hike. However, since the two Caps were covered in heavy fog that day, I drove to the Caps again in glorious sunshine.
