Lovely walk. Not too difficult. You often walk through the shade of holm oak forests. Many picnic benches along the way. Only at the places where the route crosses a road do you meet other people. Otherwise it is wonderfully quiet. The car ride to the pilgrimage site is already a party.

I wanted to walk the outer route. However, that trail was super icy and quite narrow next to the canyon going down. So I went back and took the wider paths.

To be honest, I found this walk disappointing. So many trees have been cut down along the way that it's just a bit sad to walk here. It is better to take a circular walk from one of the surrounding villages, for example from Hildfeld.

This is a beautiful walk, but quite tough. Especially because it is often steep with loose gravel. The walk is very varied; sometimes through the forest, then through low vegetation and often high on the mountain with a beautiful view of the sea. Recommended
