A very steep climb, rewarded with panoramic views as far as Trieste and Koper. The restaurant at the summit is apparently only open on weekends.

Only 9 km – but 350 meters of elevation gain are quite a challenge. Beautiful green hiking trails, mixed deciduous forest, predominantly beech trees. Overgrown with blackberries and nettles, fallen trees – the whole package. Don't run in shorts in summer!
The Harz Mountains, like something out of a "picture book"!
