Partendo da Lenzumo il primo ( e quindi al Ritorno il tratto finale ) non è che una comoda passeggiata lungo la ciclo pedonale di fondo valle fino al Rifugio Al Faggio,raggiungibile anche in auto su strada asfaltata. Da qui inizia la vera salita che si farà impegnativa solo dopo l’attraversamento del torrente sul ponticciolo di legno. Qui un paio di rampe ci portano alla malga dove ci si può ristorare. Oggi è giornata di relax e godimento della natura quindi si ritorna per lo stesso percorso con un dislivello appena sopra i 600mt pur con una distanza di tutto rispetto che tocca i 14km.

Da Marileva via ciclabile si raggiunge Cogolo. Da qui si sale verso la strada asfatata per Malga Mare. Dopo 8-9 km si svolta a sinistra per sentiero e poi strada bianca che ci porta a Pejo e successivamente a fermarci alla. Baita 3 larici. Si torna a salire per la comoda strada militare fino a Malga Giumela con un bel punto panoramico sul lago di pian Palú. Questi lo si raggiunge dopo una discesa sempre su strada bianca piuttosto veloce per poi proseguire su sterrata e poi asfaltata che percorre tutta la vallata fino a ricongiungersi con Pejo Fonti. Da qui scendiamo su strada( un temporale potente ci ha colti improvvisamente. e abbiamo tentati di sfuggirgli.. inutilmente) per poi una volta raggiunto il fondo valle riprendere la ciclabile e procedere spediti a ritroso di quello che è stata l’andata pedalando per alcuni tratti sul lato opposto del Noce. Un bel giro per pedalatori amanti delle salite. Discese niente di interessante, di fatto puri tratti di raccordo poco impegnativi e/o divertenti per chi ama magari lasciar scorrere le ruote tassellate mordendo qualche bel sentiero. Ma non in questo tour.

This year, too, we made the climb to the Malghetto di Almazzago as a farewell to an extended week of hiking enjoyment in the Val di Sole.
And like last year, I was fooled by the official trail sign that directed us to take the forest road.
There's nothing wrong with that, as it's absolutely enjoyable
