A hike in the immediate vicinity, once again in perfect weather.



Via Pfullingen, Maustäle to the Wackerstein. Onward to Pfullinger Berg, Gönninger Lakes, Rinnental and to the EKS (a local landmark) at the Lichtenstein Castle Tavern. Finally, a stop at the Gießstein and then down into the Reissenbach Valley

What more can I say? Simply breathtaking! 😍

Via the vineyard, past the Waldcafe, Übersberg,



Immenberg to Mädlesfels, then on to Göllesberg, Eckfelsen, Greifenstein ruins, Kleiner Greifenstein, Holzelfingen, and back along the railway line.



As always, I was out alone on a Monday, and I had all of nature to myself! 🚵‍♂️😍

Hey Dieter, it's about time you took your Anette on tour with you again.

Inspired by yesterday's Alb loop, I did a somewhat similar tour today on my bike.



Along the railway line, through Kohltal, Ödenwaldstetten, Ehestetter Tal into the Lautertal valley and up to Hohengundelfingen. It's simply breathtaking up here 😍. Back through the Lautertal valley, pit stop at Glocker

Well, that's it again. Four wonderful days in Oberstaufen at the Berghaus Buchenegg have come to an end in Balderschwang, under perfect weather conditions ☀️.



As always, it was a bit hectic with 13 people and some long evenings in the mountain hut 🍺🤣, but also some great days of skiing and hiking.



So, see you again in 2027! 👍

From one day to the next, a winter hike without snow – the rain has turned everything in the mid-altitude Allgäu region green 🤦.



So, a day of skiing was cancelled, but the Leberkäs Hütte (a traditional Bavarian meatloaf hut) is always worth a visit.

Today I used my trusty old Backfire tire again because the rear rim on the "green" bike has a crack and needs replacing 😡



Due to the weather, I went for another ride on asphalt and was surprised to find that the old Backfire is running great 👍

There's nothing more to say about the ride except gray, gray
