For the first time, I put my wife on a mountain bike (with E), but carelessly included S1 sections in the tour. The S1 descent from Haidstein (on the Kreuzweg) is definitely not suitable for beginners in the upper section and is not easy even for experienced riders in 2-3 places. The medal for bravery

It is definitely nicer to ride along the Pleichach than along the Kürnach. 5 stars for the first half of the tour, including the pizzeria in Maidbronn, and just 4 stars for the second half.

A comfortable ride for two with a few short sections without asphalt. But absolutely no problem even for the 20-inch tires of the vintage racer.

Lots of asphalt this time, but south of Aub there are also a few rough sections. So I used my trekking bike for once. The right decision! The previously unpaved cycle path between Goßmannsdorf and Winterhausen is currently partially closed. It is supposed to be paved.

After the rain in the early afternoon, it was too wet and muddy for my MTB. For a quick ride to the Main on my vintage steel horse, however, it was perfect. I have rarely seen so few walkers and other "obstacles" (on wheels) on the Main cycle path on a Sunday. :D
