In fantastic weather, we completed the third stage of the Iht Hills Trail today. Although it's the shortest of the four stages, it's quite challenging. Since we had the whole day, we took it easy. We discovered that we were practically alone on the trail. It's a real shame.

Welcome to North Uist. We had chosen a short hike after breakfast. The weather forecast predicted cloudy to sunny spells. When the first drizzle arrived, we backtracked a bit to find shelter. It didn't last long. We then continued along the beautiful coastline. Further along the path, it started to rain

It was a great tour, but believe me, I didn't run 6.5 km/h. There were some problems with the GPS, which resulted in such a wild value.

My third stage starts near K&S in Röhrigshof. First, I stop at Philipsthal for provisions and water. Once through the village, across the castle courtyard, on to Vacha to the house on the border and the beautiful bridge that was once the border. Here, the Path of Memories and the Green Belt converge
