2 days of bikepacking around Lake Edersee - Day 2.

On the second day, I wanted to pack up my tent in a dry place, so I waited for the first major break in the rain. So I didn't get going until around midday.

I parked at Eisenberg near Korbach. There are Green Trails, which are easy mountain bike trails especially suitable for beginners. I'd been wanting to check them out for a while anyway, so I decided to combine them with my tour.

Today was the first time I was on a "real" MTB trail. We've had the Stoic since September, but we just haven't had time for it yet. Unfortunately (as far as I know) there aren't any such official and freely accessible trails around Halle

On this tour I had set out to beat my previous record of 164 km and wanted to ride at least 200 km.



I therefore chose the route with a higher proportion of asphalt and fewer meters of elevation than I would normally do.

A nice tour around the fjord, with a detour to a larger forest area in the south. There is also a nice rest area in the forest with shelter huts, a fireplace and a toilet.
