Der elbnahe Weg hat zwischen Brambach und Aken zwar etwas gelitten, ist aber noch gut befahrbar. Von Aken/Fähre bis Naumann's Schuppen Kopfsteinpflaster (lieber den Asphaltweg benutzen)

Die Kliekener Aue ist ein Vogelparadies. die beiden Beobachtungstürme eignen sich gut für ausgedehnte Pausen. Fernglas mitnehmen. Zwischen Enten, Gänsen und Rallen tauchte auch ein Biber auf. Grau- und Silberreiher, Kranich und Storch, diverse Singvögel und Libellen, ständig ist Bewegung auf und über den Gewässern.
