Summer gave it its all again today,😎so I chose one of my favorite hikes, the Saale Horizontal Trail high above Jena.🥰
The eastern section, from Lobdeburg (which seems to always be covered in scaffolding or surrounded by construction fences) to the Fuchsturm (Fuchs Tower), is a dream.🧚♀️

If you want to explore the Bodden landscape undisturbed, this short hike to the Hinterste Berge mountains with two viewing platforms 👀 is just the thing.
Back along the dike, always towards the Barth church tower, which is visible from afar.

After the two peninsulas of Zingst and Darß, Fischland was on the agenda today.
The weather was warm and humid and overcast, and the weather held off until the afternoon before it gradually began to drizzle. From the pier in Wustrow, we headed towards Ahrenshoop.
