The goal today was to drive the new Ferkeltaxenweg. In the end it was a beautiful ride through the Börde.

A nice combination with the Aller cycle path. Mostly good agricultural paths or asphalted cycle paths. One exception is the edge of the village in Gutenswegen. The Vierzeit Cafe in Bebertal is a good place to stop for a break.

We first went through the Baltic Sea resorts to Travemünde. Here we took the ferry to Priwall. Along the Baltic Sea, always slightly uphill and downhill, we reached Boltenhagen. Be sure to stroll through the town. In the evening we enjoyed the old town of Wismar and the next day we took the train home

A short but beautiful tour. Since we spent two nights in Heiligenhafen, the day started a little more leisurely today. The towns of Dahme, Kellenhusen and Dömitz are perfect for a short rest.

From Heilgenhafen we went to the shuttle bus, which took us over the Fehmarnsund Bridge to the Isel. Unfortunately, there was very little information on site. The island tour was very varied. The town of Burg is definitely worth a visit. In the afternoon we went back with the free shuttle.

From Kiel we went along the fjord to Laboe. The Wendtorf beach reminded us a lot of Prora. This was followed by beautiful stretches on first-class cycle paths along the coast. Today we went from Kappeln to Kiel. We stopped off in Surendorf, right on the Baltic Sea. We took the canal ferry across the Kiel Canal. In the evening we strolled through the city center.

The first day of our 6-day cycling trip from Flensburg to Wismar. We arrived by train and explored the city the evening before. Glücksburg Castle should definitely be included on the itinerary. Langballigau is a very beautiful place to linger.

A beautiful walk around Lake Plau. Sometimes the paths were a bit sandy, but the views were all the better. In Plau, be sure to eat a fish sandwich and of course a delicious ice cream.
