We're in luck; it's overcast, but the weather is cooperating. Today, we have a few climbs to tackle again. It's essentially just uphill and downhill 😂. First, we ride to the Nonnenweiler Dam. Off we went on our last bike tour of the year. At 6:28 a.m., we took the RE train to Trier, and this time everything was on time. The night cooled down noticeably, so we were able to set off in pleasant temperatures. Like the other days, the route was excellent. Sometimes gravel, sometimes asphalt, but always on bike paths or small roads with no cars.

First, we went back to the market square in Rothenburg. Then we left Rothenburg on the Franconian Water Cycle Trail. The route once again took us through beautiful landscapes. Today was the warmest day of our tour so far, with 39 degrees Celsius.
We left Neustadt quickly and drove along the Aisch River to Bad Windsheim. We continued through more countryside, passing through agricultural land, to Rothenburg.
In the evening, we strolled through Rothenburg. There's a wine festival there today.
