We actually planned to hike directly to Teide, but unfortunately, we hadn't done our research properly, and we didn't book a cable car ticket for our tour, which we had booked months ago, and couldn't get one at such short notice. 🥲

A very beautiful circular trail, only recommended with long trousers. It's very overgrown in some places.
The descent is also a bit of an adventure. Don't cross the fenced area, but walk along the right side of the fence. The owner of the mare and her foal doesn't like it that much.
