The most strenuous part of today's stage was by far the intense heat. At almost 30°C, the many short climbs to the beautiful viewpoints were quite a strain on the body. Fortunately, however, the trail leads through the forest almost entirely, so at least we weren't too badly scorched by the sun.

After yesterday's long day, we had planned a relatively short tour today. This was mainly because the distribution of overnight campsites would have meant we would have had to walk 30+ km otherwise. Since it was also quite hot, this was too much for us.
