Today we hiked to Lake Huzenbach above the Murg Valley. It's a glacial lake that was also used for log driving. The hiking trails there are absolutely peaceful and idyllic. To finish off the hike, there was a short, steep climb back to the trailhead parking lot.

A short hike around the Mooswaldkopf in sunny weather. The first kilometer or so followed a main road, but otherwise the trails through the forest were excellent. The Fohrenbühl Memorial House is still closed, but according to a notice, there's already a new tenant.

Today, after a long time, we visited Hohenzollern Castle again. The paths were quite muddy in places, and later we encountered runners from the 39th Hohenzollern Mountain Run. Shortly before the end of our hike, we enjoyed a picnic with a fantastic view of Zimmern.
