This was a very long hike. The ascent was steep almost the entire way, and the trail to Aleko Hut, with its approximately 35% incline, was quite challenging, so it's best to plan for two days.
The section from Cherni Vrah to Aleko Hut was crowded, but after that, you're often alone.
