A varied 12 km loop starting near Tossa de Mar, perfect for families who enjoy a bit of adventure. The trail winds through fragrant pine forests and sandy paths, passing old Bronze Age burial sites along the way. Mostly in partial shade and with hardly any asphalt, it offers a quiet experience far from the crowds. On clear days, you can even see all the way to Barcelona. We completed the hike in about 4½ hours including breaks, with our 5- and 7-year-old children — both fairly experienced young hikers. Bring enough water and snacks, as there are no restaurants or facilities along the route. Difficulty: moderate.

Family hike with three children (1, 4, and 6). The children enjoyed the trail; it was pleasantly challenging. We took a break at the mountain station. The return route branches off to the right of the road and is easily overlooked.
