Tried a little challenge today: my first-ever 20 km run! (Longest I’ve run before was 13 km… back in 2018 😅) Started strong on a nice, flat route—but by km 6, my knees were protesting and my calves felt like bricks. Turned back at 7.5 km, feeling defeated... Then, like magic, energy kicked in during the last 2–3 km, and I pushed through. Not my fastest run, but I’m proud. Could I have gone the full 20? Probably—but I didn't wanted to overwork my body and get hurt. ~Getting fit is a marathon, not a sprint 😉👟
